		[niv]	Joseph found favor in his eyes and became his attendant. Potiphar put him in charge of his household, and he entrusted to his care everything he owned.

		[niv]	But he refused. "With me in charge," he told her, "my master does not concern himself with anything in the house; everything he owns he has entrusted to my care.
		[asv]	But he refused, and said unto his master's wife, Behold, my master knoweth not what is with me in the house, and he hath put all that he hath into my hand:

		[bbe]	But he would not, and said to her, You see that my master keeps no account of what I do in his house, and has put all his property in my control;

		[niv]	No one is greater in this house than I am. My master has withheld nothing from me except you, because you are his wife. How then could I do such a wicked thing and sin against God?"
		[asv]	he is not greater in this house than I; neither hath he kept back anything from me but thee, because thou art his wife: how then can I do this great wickedness, and sin against God?

		[asv]	And it came to pass about this time, that he went into the house to do his work; and there was none of the men of the house there within.

		[niv]	She caught him by his cloak and said, "Come to bed with me!" But he left his cloak in her hand and ran out of the house.
		[asv]	And she caught him by his garment, saying, Lie with me: and he left his garment in her hand, and fled, and got him out.

		[niv]	she called her household servants. "Look," she said to them, "this Hebrew has been brought to us to make sport of us! He came in here to sleep with me, but I screamed.
		[asv]	that she called unto the men of her house, and spake unto them, saying, See, he hath brought in a Hebrew unto us to mock us: he came in unto me to lie with me, and I cried with a loud voice:
		[jnd]	that she called to the men of her house, and spoke to them, saying, See, he has brought in a Hebrew man to us, to mock us: he came in to me, to lie with me; and I cried with a loud voice;

		[ylt]	that she calleth for the men of her house, and speaketh to them, saying, `See, he hath brought in to us a man, a Hebrew, to play with us; he hath come in unto me, to lie with me, and I call with a loud voice,
		[bbe]	She sent for the men of her house and said to them, See, he has let a Hebrew come here and make sport of us; he came to my bed, and I gave a loud cry;
	39:15	[cbgb]	他听见我放声喊起来，就把衣裳丢在我这里，跑到外边去了。 < | >
		[niv]	When he heard me scream for help, he left his cloak beside me and ran out of the house."
		[asv]	and it came to pass, when he heard that I lifted up my voice and cried, that he left his garment by me, and fled, and got him out.

		[asv]	And she spake unto him according to these words, saying, The Hebrew servant, whom thou hast brought unto us, came in unto me to mock me:
		[jnd]	And she spoke to him according to these words, saying, The Hebrew bondman that thou hast brought to us came in to me to mock me;
		[kjv]	And she spake unto him according to these words, saying, The Hebrew servant, which thou hast brought unto us, came in unto me to mock me:

		[asv]	and it came to pass, as I lifted up my voice and cried, that he left his garment by me, and fled out.

		[asv]	And it came to pass, when his master heard the words of his wife, which she spake unto him, saying, After this manner did thy servant to me; that his wrath was kindled.
		[jnd]	And it came to pass when his lord heard the words of his wife which she spoke to him, saying, After this manner did thy bondman to me, that his wrath was kindled.

		[web]	Joseph's master took him, and put him into the prison, the place where the king's prisoners were bound, and he was there in the custody.
		[ylt]	and Joseph's lord taketh him, and putteth him unto the round-house, a place where the king's prisoners bound; and he is there in the round-house.

		[niv]	the LORD was with him; he showed him kindness and granted him favor in the eyes of the prison warden.

		[niv]	So the warden put Joseph in charge of all those held in the prison, and he was made responsible for all that was done there.
		[asv]	And the keeper of the prison committed to Joseph's hand all the prisoners that were in the prison; and whatsoever they did there, he was the doer of it.

		[niv]	The warden paid no attention to anything under Joseph's care, because the LORD was with Joseph and gave him success in whatever he did.
		[asv]	The keeper of the prison looked not to anything that was under his hand, because Jehovah was with him; and that which he did, Jehovah made it prosper.
		[jnd]	The chief of the tower-house looked not to anything under his hand, because Jehovah was with him; and what he did, Jehovah made it prosper.
		[kjv]	The keeper of the prison looked not to any thing that was under his hand; because the LORD was with him, and that which he did, the LORD made it to prosper.

		[bbe]	And the keeper of the prison gave no attention to anything which was under his care, because the Lord was with him; and the Lord made everything he did go well.
