5:1 [cbgb] 若有人听见发誓的声音(或作若有人听见叫人发誓的声音),他本是见证,却不把所看见的,所知道的说出来,这就是罪,他要担当他的罪孽。 >
    [niv] "`If a person sins because he does not speak up when he hears a public charge to testify regarding something he has seen or learned about, he will be held responsible.
    [asv] And if any one sin, in that he heareth the voice of adjuration, he being a witness, whether he hath seen or known, if he do not utter it, then he shall bear his iniquity.
    [jnd] And if any one sin, and hear the voice of adjuration, and he is a witness whether he hath seen or known , if he do not give information, then he shall bear his iniquity.
    [kjv] And if a soul sin, and hear the voice of swearing, and is a witness, whether he hath seen or known of it; if he do not utter it, then he shall bear his iniquity.
    [nwb] And if a soul shall sin, and hear the voice of swearing, and be a witness, whether he hath seen or known ; if he doth not utter , then he shall bear his iniquity.

    [niv] "`Or if a person touches anything ceremonially unclean--whether the carcasses of unclean wild animals or of unclean livestock or of unclean creatures that move along the ground--even though he is unaware of it, he has become unclean and is guilty.
    [asv] Or if any one touch any unclean thing, whether it be the carcass of an unclean beast, or the carcass of unclean cattle, or the carcass of unclean creeping things, and it be hidden from him, and he be unclean, then he shall be guilty.
    [jnd] Or if any one touch any unclean thing, whether it be the carcase of an unclean beast, or the carcase of unclean cattle, or the carcase of an unclean crawling thing, and it be hid from him, -- he also is unclean and guilty;
    [kjv] Or if a soul touch any unclean thing, whether it be a carcase of an unclean beast, or a carcase of unclean cattle, or the carcase of unclean creeping things, and if it be hidden from him; he also shall be unclean, and guilty.

    [rsv] Or if any one touches an unclean thing, whether the carcass of an unclean beast or a carcass of unclean cattle or a carcass of unclean swarming things, and it is hidden from him, and he has become unclean, he shall be guilty.
    [web] Or if anyone touch any unclean thing, whether it be the carcass of an unclean animal, or the carcass of unclean cattle, or the carcass of unclean creeping things, and it be hidden from him, and he be unclean, then he shall be guilty.
    [ylt] `Or when a person cometh against any thing unclean, or against a carcase of an unclean beast, or against a carcase of unclean cattle, or against a carcase of an unclean teeming creature, and it hath been hidden from him, and he unclean, and guilty;
    [bbe] If anyone becomes unclean through touching unconsciously some unclean thing, such as the dead body of an unclean beast or of unclean cattle or of any unclean animal which goes flat on the earth, he will be responsible:
5:3 [cbgb] 或是他摸了别人的污秽,无论是染了什么污秽,他却不知道,一知道了就有了罪。 < | >
    [niv] "`Or if he touches human uncleanness--anything that would make him unclean--even though he is unaware of it, when he learns of it he will be guilty.
    [asv] Or if he touch the uncleanness of man, whatsoever his uncleanness be wherewith he is unclean, and it be hid from him; when he knoweth of it, then he shall be guilty.
    [jnd] or if he touch the uncleanness of man, any uncleanness of him by which he is defiled, and it be hid from him, when he knoweth , then he is guilty.
    [kjv] Or if he touch the uncleanness of man, whatsoever uncleanness it be that a man shall be defiled withal, and it be hid from him; when he knoweth of it, then he shall be guilty.
    [nwb] Or if he shall touch the uncleanness of man, whatever uncleanness that a man shall be defiled with, and it be hid from him; when he knoweth , then he shall be guilty.

5:4 [cbgb] 或是有人嘴里冒失发誓,要行恶,要行善,无论人在什么事上冒失发誓,他却不知道,一知道了就要在这其中的一件上有了罪。 < | >
    [niv] "`Or if a person thoughtlessly takes an oath to do anything, whether good or evil--in any matter one might carelessly swear about--even though he is unaware of it, in any case when he learns of it he will be guilty.
    [asv] Or if any one swear rashly with his lips to do evil, or to do good, whatsoever it be that a man shall utter rashly with an oath, and it be hid from him; when he knoweth of it, then he shall be guilty in one of these things.
    [jnd] Or if any one swear, talking rashly with the lips, to do evil or to do good, in everything that a man shall say rashly with an oath, and it be hid from him, when he knoweth , then is he guilty in one of these.
    [kjv] Or if a soul swear, pronouncing with his lips to do evil, or to do good, whatsoever it be that a man shall pronounce with an oath, and it be hid from him; when he knoweth of it, then he shall be guilty in one of these.

    [ylt] `Or when a person sweareth, speaking wrongfully with the lips to do evil, or to do good, even anything which man speaketh wrongfully with an oath, and it hath been hid from him; -- when he hath known then he hath been guilty of one of these;
    [bbe] Or if anyone, without thought, takes an oath to do evil or to do good, whatever he says without thought, with an oath, having no knowledge of what he is doing; when it becomes clear to him, he will be responsible for any of these things.
5:5 [cbgb] 他有了罪的时候,就要承认所犯的罪, < | >
    [niv] "`When anyone is guilty in any of these ways, he must confess in what way he has sinned
    [asv] And it shall be, when he shall be guilty in one of these things, that he shall confess that wherein he hath sinned:
    [jnd] And it shall be, when he shall be guilty in one of these, that he shall confess wherein he hath sinned;
    [kjv] And it shall be, when he shall be guilty in one of these things, that he shall confess that he hath sinned in that thing:
    [nwb] And it shall be, when he shall be guilty in one of these , that he shall confess that he hath sinned in that
    [rsv] When a man is guilty in any of these, he shall confess the sin he has committed,
    [web] It shall be, when he shall be guilty in one of these , that he shall confess that in which he has sinned:
    [ylt] `And it hath been when he is guilty of one of these, that he hath confessed concerning that which he hath sinned,
    [bbe] And whoever is responsible for any such sin, let him make a statement openly of his wrongdoing;
5:6 [cbgb] 并要因所犯的罪,把他的赎愆祭牲就是羊群中的母羊,或是一只羊羔,或是一只山羊牵到耶和华面前为赎罪祭。至于他的罪,祭司要为他赎了。 < | >
    [niv] and, as a penalty for the sin he has committed, he must bring to the LORD a female lamb or goat from the flock as a sin offering; and the priest shall make atonement for him for his sin.
    [asv] and he shall bring his trespass-offering unto Jehovah for his sin which he hath sinned, a female from the flock, a lamb or a goat, for a sin-offering; and the priest shall make atonement for him as concerning his sin.
    [jnd] and he shall bring his trespass-offering to Jehovah for his sin which he hath sinned, a female from the small cattle, a sheep or doe goat, for a sin-offering; and the priest shall make atonement for him from his sin.
    [kjv] And he shall bring his trespass offering unto the LORD for his sin which he hath sinned, a female from the flock, a lamb or a kid of the goats, for a sin offering; and the priest shall make an atonement for him concerning his sin.
    [nwb] And he shall bring his trespass-offering to the LORD for his sin which he hath sinned, a female from the flock, a lamb or a kid of the goats, for a sin-offering; and the priest shall make an atonement for him concerning his sin.
    [rsv] and he shall bring his guilt offering to the LORD for the sin which he has committed, a female from the flock, a lamb or a goat, for a sin offering; and the priest shall make atonement for him for his sin.
    [web] and he shall bring his trespass-offering to Yahweh for his sin which he has sinned, a female from the flock, a lamb or a goat, for a sin-offering; and the priest shall make atonement for him as concerning his sin.
    [ylt] and hath brought in his guilt-offering to Jehovah for his sin which he hath sinned, a female out of the flock, a lamb, or a kid of the goats, for a sin-offering, and the priest hath made atonement for him, because of his sin.
    [bbe] And take to the Lord the offering for the wrong which he has done, a female from the flock, a lamb or a goat, for a sin-offering, and the priest will take away his sin.
5:7 [cbgb] 他的力量若不够献一只羊羔,就要因所犯的罪,把两只斑鸠或是两只雏鸽带到耶和华面前为赎愆祭,一只作赎罪祭,一只作燔祭。 < | >
    [niv] "`If he cannot afford a lamb, he is to bring two doves or two young pigeons to the LORD as a penalty for his sin--one for a sin offering and the other for a burnt offering.
    [asv] And if his means suffice not for a lamb, then he shall bring his trespass-offering for that wherein he hath sinned, two turtle-doves, or two young pigeons, unto Jehovah; one for a sin-offering, and the other for a burnt-offering.
    [jnd] And if his hand be not able to bring what is so much as a sheep, then he shall bring for his trespass which he hath sinned two turtle-doves or two young pigeons, to Jehovah; one for a sin-offering, and the other for a burnt-offering.
    [kjv] And if he be not able to bring a lamb, then he shall bring for his trespass, which he hath committed, two turtledoves, or two young pigeons, unto the LORD; one for a sin offering, and the other for a burnt offering.
    [nwb] And if he shall not be able to bring a lamb, then he shall bring for his trespass which he hath committed, two turtle-doves, or two young pigeons, to the LORD; one for a sin-offering, and the other for a burnt-offering.

    [bbe] And if he has not money enough for a lamb, then let him give, for his offering to the Lord, two doves or two young pigeons; one for a sin-offering and one for a burned offering.
5:8 [cbgb] 把这些带到祭司那里,祭司就要先把那赎罪祭献上,从鸟的颈项上揪下头来,只是不可把鸟撕断, < | >
    [niv] He is to bring them to the priest, who shall first offer the one for the sin offering. He is to wring its head from its neck, not severing it completely,
    [asv] And he shall bring them unto the priest, who shall offer that which is for the sin-offering first, and wring off its head from its neck, but shall not divide it asunder:
    [jnd] And he shall bring them unto the priest, who shall present that which is for the sin-offering first, and pinch off his head at the neck, but shall not divide it;
    [kjv] And he shall bring them unto the priest, who shall offer that which is for the sin offering first, and wring off his head from his neck, but shall not divide it asunder:
    [nwb] And he shall bring them to the priest, who shall offer which for the sin-offering first, and wring off his head from his neck, but shall not divide asunder:

    [bbe] And let him take them to the priest, who will first give the sin-offering, twisting off its head from its neck, but not cutting it in two;
5:9 [cbgb] 也把些赎罪祭牲的血弹在坛的旁边,剩下的血要流在坛的脚那里,这是赎罪祭。 < | >
    [niv] and is to sprinkle some of the blood of the sin offering against the side of the altar; the rest of the blood must be drained out at the base of the altar. It is a sin offering.
    [asv] and he shall sprinkle of the blood of the sin-offering upon the side of the altar; and the rest of the blood shall be drained out at the base of the altar: it is a sin-offering.
    [jnd] and he shall sprinkle of the blood of the sin-offering on the wall of the altar; and the rest of the blood shall be wrung out at the bottom of the altar: it is a sin-offering.
    [kjv] And he shall sprinkle of the blood of the sin offering upon the side of the altar; and the rest of the blood shall be wrung out at the bottom of the altar: it is a sin offering.
    [nwb] And he shall sprinkle of the blood of the sin-offering upon the side of the altar; and the rest of the blood shall be wrung out at the bottom of the altar: it a sin-offering.
    [rsv] and he shall sprinkle some of the blood of the sin offering on the side of the altar, while the rest of the blood shall be drained out at the base of the altar; it is a sin offering.

    [bbe] And he is to put drops of the blood of the offering on the side of the altar, and the rest of the blood is to be drained out at the base of the altar; it is a sin-offering.
5:10 [cbgb] 他要照例献第二只为燔祭。至于他所犯的罪,祭司要为他赎了,他必蒙赦免。 < | >
    [niv] The priest shall then offer the other as a burnt offering in the prescribed way and make atonement for him for the sin he has committed, and he will be forgiven.
    [asv] And he shall offer the second for a burnt-offering, according to the ordinance; and the priest shall make atonement for him as concerning his sin which he hath sinned, and he shall be forgiven.
    [jnd] And he shall offer the other for a burnt-offering, according to the ordinance. And the priest shall make atonement for him from his sin which he hath sinned, and it shall be forgiven him.
    [kjv] And he shall offer the second for a burnt offering, according to the manner: and the priest shall make an atonement for him for his sin which he hath sinned, and it shall be forgiven him.
    [nwb] And he shall offer the second a burnt-offering, according to the manner: and the priest shall make an atonement for him for his sin which he hath sinned, and it shall be forgiven him.

    [bbe] And the second is for a burned offering, in agreement with the law; and the priest will take away his sin and he will have forgiveness.
5:11 [cbgb] 他的力量若不够献两只斑鸠或是两只雏鸽,就要因所犯的罪带供物来,就是细面伊法十分之一为赎罪祭,不可加上油,也不可加上乳香,因为是赎罪祭。 < | >
    [niv] "`If, however, he cannot afford two doves or two young pigeons, he is to bring as an offering for his sin a tenth of an ephah of fine flour for a sin offering. He must not put oil or incense on it, because it is a sin offering.
    [asv] But if his means suffice not for two turtle-doves, or two young pigeons, then he shall bring his oblation for that wherein he hath sinned, the tenth part of an ephah of fine flour for a sin-offering: he shall put no oil upon it, neither shall he put any frankincense thereon; for it is a sin-offering.
    [jnd] But if his hand cannot attain to two turtle-doves, or two young pigeons, then he that sinned shall bring for his offering the tenth part of an ephah of fine flour for a sin-offering: he shall put no oil on it, neither shall he put frankincense thereon; for it is a sin-offering.

5:12 [cbgb] 他要把供物带到祭司那里,祭司要取出自己的一把来作为纪念,按献给耶和华火祭的条例烧在坛上,这是赎罪祭。 < | >
    [niv] He is to bring it to the priest, who shall take a handful of it as a memorial portion and burn it on the altar on top of the offerings made to the LORD by fire. It is a sin offering.
    [asv] And he shall bring it to the priest, and the priest shall take his handful of it as the memorial thereof, and burn it on the altar, upon the offerings of Jehovah made by fire: it is a sin-offering.
    [jnd] And he shall bring it to the priest, and the priest shall take his handful of it, the memorial thereof, and burn it on the altar, with Jehovah's offerings by fire: it is a sin-offering.
    [kjv] Then shall he bring it to the priest, and the priest shall take his handful of it, even a memorial thereof, and burn it on the altar, according to the offerings made by fire unto the LORD: it is a sin offering.

5:13 [cbgb] 至于他在这几件事中所犯的罪,祭司要为他赎了,他必蒙赦免。剩下的面都归与祭司,和素祭一样。 < | >
    [niv] In this way the priest will make atonement for him for any of these sins he has committed, and he will be forgiven. The rest of the offering will belong to the priest, as in the case of the grain offering.'"
    [asv] And the priest shall make atonement for him as touching his sin that he hath sinned in any of these things, and he shall be forgiven: and the remnant shall be the priest's, as the meal-offering.
    [jnd] And the priest shall make atonement for him concerning his sin which he hath sinned in one of these, and it shall be forgiven him; and it shall be the priest's, as the oblation.

    [ylt] `And the priest hath made atonement for him, for his sin which he hath sinned against one of these, and it hath been forgiven him, and hath been to the priest, like the present.'
    [bbe] And the priest will take away his sin and he will have forgiveness: and the rest of the offering will be the priest's, in the same way as the meal offering.

5:15 [cbgb] 人若在耶和华的圣物上误犯了罪,有了过犯,就要照你所估的,按圣所的舍客勒拿银子,将赎愆祭牲就是羊群中一只没有残疾的公绵羊牵到耶和华面前为赎愆祭。 < | >
    [niv] "When a person commits a violation and sins unintentionally in regard to any of the LORD's holy things, he is to bring to the LORD as a penalty a ram from the flock, one without defect and of the proper value in silver, according to the sanctuary shekel. It is a guilt offering.
    [asv] If any one commit a trespass, and sin unwittingly, in the holy things of Jehovah; then he shall bring his trespass-offering unto Jehovah, a ram without blemish out of the flock, according to thy estimation in silver by shekels, after the shekel of the sanctuary, for a trespass-offering:
    [jnd] If any one act unfaithfully and sin through inadvertence in the holy things of Jehovah, then he shall bring his trespass-offering to Jehovah, a ram without blemish out of the small cattle, according to thy valuation by shekels of silver, according to the shekel of the sanctuary, for a trespass-offering.
    [kjv] If a soul commit a trespass, and sin through ignorance, in the holy things of the LORD; then he shall bring for his trespass unto the LORD a ram without blemish out of the flocks, with thy estimation by shekels of silver, after the shekel of the sanctuary, for a trespass offering.
    [nwb] If a soul shall commit a trespass, and sin through ignorance, in the holy things of the LORD; then he shall bring for his trespass to the LORD a ram without blemish out of the flocks, with thy estimation by shekels of silver, after the shekel of the sanctuary, for a trespass-offering:
    [rsv] "If any one commits a breach of faith and sins unwittingly in any of the holy things of the LORD, he shall bring, as his guilt offering to the LORD, a ram without blemish out of the flock, valued by you in shekels of silver, according to the shekel of the sanctuary; it is a guilt offering.
    [web] If anyone commits a trespass, and sin unwittingly, in the holy things of Yahweh; then he shall bring his trespass-offering to Yahweh, a ram without blemish out of the flock, according to your estimation in silver by shekels, after the shekel of the sanctuary, for a trespass-offering:
    [ylt] `When a person committeth a trespass, and hath sinned through ignorance against the holy things of Jehovah, then he hath brought in his guilt-offering to Jehovah, a ram, a perfect one, out of the flock, at thy valuation silver -- shekels by the shekel of the sanctuary -- for a guilt-offering.
    [bbe] If anyone is untrue, sinning in error in connection with the holy things of the Lord, let him take his offering to the Lord, a male sheep from the flock, without any mark, of the value fixed by you in silver by shekels, by the scale of the holy place.

    [niv] He must make restitution for what he has failed to do in regard to the holy things, add a fifth of the value to that and give it all to the priest, who will make atonement for him with the ram as a guilt offering, and he will be forgiven.

    [niv] "If a person sins and does what is forbidden in any of the LORD's commands, even though he does not know it, he is guilty and will be held responsible.
    [asv] And if any one sin, and do any of the things which Jehovah hath commanded not to be done; though he knew it not, yet is he guilty, and shall bear his iniquity.
    [jnd] And if any one sin and do against any of all the commandments of Jehovah what should not be done, and hath not known , yet is he guilty, and shall bear his iniquity.

    [niv] He is to bring to the priest as a guilt offering a ram from the flock, one without defect and of the proper value. In this way the priest will make atonement for him for the wrong he has committed unintentionally, and he will be forgiven.
    [asv] And he shall bring a ram without blemish out of the flock, according to thy estimation, for a trespass-offering, unto the priest; and the priest shall make atonement for him concerning the thing wherein he erred unwittingly and knew it not, and he shall be forgiven.

    [niv] It is a guilt offering; he has been guilty of wrongdoing against the LORD."
    [asv] It is a trespass-offering: he is certainly guilty before Jehovah.

    [kjv] It is a trespass offering: he hath certainly trespassed against the LORD.
    [nwb] It a trespass-offering: he hath certainly trespassed against the LORD.
    [rsv] It is a guilt offering; he is guilty before the LORD."
